M.A.S.T.R. Kids Summer Program 2019

                                                       Monday, June 10th - Friday, August 2nd.


The Shirley Proctor Puller Foundation is once again providing an exciting educational opportunity for  boys and girls in grades K-8 this summer.


The SPPF M.A.S.T.R. Kids curriculum (Math-Art-Science-Technology-Reading) focuses on ways to encourage academic excellence over the summer months.  The program offers activities that decrease learning loss and guarantee fun.  The M.A.S.T.R. Kids program highlights (4) four major areas of learning:


             1.  STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) - kids will engage in science, botany, and lab experiments,

                 garden projects, computer science, and fun math activities.

             2.  ART - Art projects, painting, drama, dance, and yoga sessions.

             3.  READING - Literacy weaved throughout the entire program, individual and group reading activities, songs and

                  phonemic development.

             4.  HEALTH and WELLNESS - kids will learn about nutrition, good food choices, ways to manage stress, understanding

                  their own feelings and behavior, how to build character, and building self-esteem.


Weekly field trips will be included with a mix of academic visits - museum, planetarium, zoo, cultural arts and theater and fun trips to roller rinks, bowling, picnics, swimming and more.


The Summer Program will be held at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3300 31st Street South, St. Petersburg, FL  33712.

Summer Program hours will be from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Meals and snacks will be included every day.



The 2019 M.A.S.T.R. Kids Summer Program OPEN HOUSE  will be held at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3300 31st Street South, July 16, 2019, Time to be announced.    

How to Register:

Parents can register on this site by clicking on the link under the Staff & Student Applications tab. Openings will be limited so it is strongly suggested that you register early!   The deadline for registration is May 31, 2019.


​Parents pay a one-time participation fee of $200.  You must complete our simple income verification form to receive a full or partial scholarship for the entire camp experience.
